Dear Michele, Thank you for creating such a fabulous "Midsummer Night Dinner Party" for us. From the creative hors d'oeuvres so elegantly plated and served out on the deck at sunset, to the five-course gourmet feast culminating in espresso and after dinner drinks (And lots of laugh), the evening could not have gone smoother. When you placed the dessert trio in front of us, there were exclamations of delight and also comments from our guests comparing this dining experience to a meal in the city at Daniel. Michele, Thank you for the wonderful meals. Alex bragged to everyone that he tried some vegetables. He even ate some steak with potatoes, and both of the boys loved the chicken with penne. Dear Michele, I thought I'd drop you a note before I forget how absolutely yummy the veal & potatoes were tonight! Mr. N insisted that it was better than any meal he's had in a while, and he frequents fancy restaurants all the time. (Of course the salad along with au gratin pototoes are amongst his favorites.) The veal dish is a keeper. The meals were all great. The stew was also a big hit. We are really living it up in this household. Personally, it would be hard for me to choose a favorite.
